Mentoring, managing and teaching are all directive — someone tells you what to do. Coaching is non-directive. The difference is fundamental: therapy looks backwards, coaching looks forwards. Every session is goal-based, time-bound, and entirely yours.

No notes. No agenda. No reporting back to your employer. What you say stays between us. Because if you don't believe the conversation is truly confidential, you won't be honest. And honesty is where the real work happens.

How executive coaching works — a structured process that won't feel like one.

Every engagement is goal-based and time-bound. Sessions are three weeks apart, because the most important breakthroughs happen in the space between conversations.

Chemistry call

A 30-minute phone conversation. Not Zoom, not face-to-face. Just a conversation to see if we'd like to work together. It's a mutual decision.

Your goal

You define what you're trying to achieve. Not what you think you should want — what you actually want. That's where we start.

The work

Three or six sessions. Active listening. Uncomfortable silences. The questions you haven't been asked before. This is where it happens.

When you've reached your goal, we're finished. No rolling retainers, no invented follow-ups. One client achieved hers twenty minutes into session one.

Before coaching, Andrew spent fifteen years in executive recruitment, placing senior strategic communications planners within media agencies around the world. Before that, he worked as a sports and news reporter on GMTV. He understands pressure, performance, and what it takes to operate at a senior level — because he's done it.

He retrained as an executive coach during COVID and hasn't looked back. Not because it's easy — because it's the most rewarding work he's ever done.
